Symbol Atlas is designed with privacy in mind. We do not collect:

• Contacts or address book data
• Keystrokes or typing data
• Browsing history
• Analytics or usage statistics
• Advertising identifiers

Local Data Storage

All data used by Symbol Atlas is stored locally on your device:

• Favorites and recents:Stored in your device's local database and shared via App Groups with the keyboard extension.
• Settings: Theme preferences and toggles are stored in UserDefaults.
• Unicode database: Ships with the app and never leaves your device.

Keyboard Extension Privacy

Symbol Atlas includes an optional keyboard extension. Important privacy notes:

• Full Access is NOT required. The keyboard functions entirely within its sandbox without network access.
• The keyboard does not log, store, or transmit anything you type.
• The keyboard only inserts the characters you explicitly tap.

In-App Purchases

Symbol Atlas Pro purchases are processed by Apple through StoreKit. We do not receive or store your payment information. Purchase verification is handled entirely by Apple's secure servers.

Website Usage

The symbolatlas.app website is a static reference site. We do not use cookies, tracking pixels, or analytics scripts. Your browsing on this site is completely private.

Children's Privacy

Symbol Atlas does not knowingly collect information from children under 13. The app contains no user accounts, social features, or advertising.
